KTM 125 Stunt (2010) Motorcycle Pictures, insurance informations and specifications.
- Robust, light and the measure of all things in terms of power and performance: its power-to-weight ratio has been the decisive argument in the its class for years. No bike whips through the curves better and yet remains easily controllable. With its re-vamped chassis and broadly usable rev range, the 105 SX leaves the competition's 4-strokes in the dust. Details like the adjustable CNC-machined triple clamp are normally available only on expensive factory bikes. But they're standard equipment in our SX models -

Ready to Play - KTM 125
For decades now the sports motorcycle brand from Austria has been engaged in racing series all over the world and by its strong conviction and visible enthusiasm for motorsport has created for itself a unique sporting image. This KTM company philosophy is, without exception, reflected in the series models it produces. The support and promotion of tomorrow’s top riders is also a big KTM tradition. Whether competing in national sport and hobby riding or on the international stage in world championship format; whether on- or offroad, via sports promotional programmes or brand trophies, at KTM, young motorcycle enthusiasts are guaranteed plenty of attention and just the right motorcycle.

The circle closes
In the future, KTM offers the “Ready to Race” young riders the best fun and racing motorcycles and not just for use on closed circuits. As of the autumn of 2009, KTM presents the KTM 125 Project, expanding the Mattighofen, Austria, factory’s engagement in the development of series motorcycles. As well as the model range that includes the “Adventure“, “Supermoto“, “Naked Bike“ and “Superbike“, which has been continually growing since 2003, there is now a sharp focus on the machine for tomorrow’s motorcycle fan and this brings the “125” segment even more sharply into focus. With a new sporty, high quality Naked Bike in the typical KTM design language, the brand enters the segment for 125 motorcycles suitable for registration on the road and in doing so sets new standards. An independent concept within the KTM model palette right from its beginning, the future KTM 125 is conceived by and profits from the enormous know-how of the entire KTM Research and Development Department. In charge of the definition of this package of technology is the same team that has already realized legendary motorcycles like the 690 Duke. Naturally the look of the KTM 125 is a product of the company’s valued partner Kiska Design. This completely new 125 cc generation carries the same conviction and vision for the production of qualitatively the best sports motorcycles and above all stands for one thing: pure riding fun!

Powerful technology
Just as it is for the development of all KTM vehicles, there are clear rules for the KTM 125: as well as a maximum product quality, a purist sporty riding experience stands in the foreground of all production efforts. A minimal weight, best handling and best rideability are the traditional development goals. Not to be forgotten is the powerful engine, 100% developed in Mattighofen, which with 125 ccm displacement ensures plenty of enjoyment. A four valve cylinder head, two overhead camshafts, water cooling and fuel injection means that the basis 11 KW (15 hp) strong 125 cc engine carries all the most modern construction characteristics. As well as an exemplary motor culture, this typical new KTM development promises tingling performance output but at the same time guarantees highly modern levels of fuel consumption and emission characteristics. The motor, which comes in a light, latticed tubular steel frame exhales by way of an innovative exhaust system solution. The perfect KTM chassis solution combines low weight and favourable dimensions with exemplary stability. There have also been no compromises with the high quality suspension elements developed by WP Suspension, the braking system with radial mounted four-piston callipers from premium supplier Brembo and the modern light metal wheels all of which are being used for the KTM 125. The development of the completely new generation of motorcycles therefore delivers all that it has promised to up-and-coming riders. The 125 cc, the exciting Naked Bike “Made in Austria” offers riding fun and all the competence of a full-sized similar machine.

Room to move
Riding fun on two wheels, regardless of the displacement, refuses to be locked away. Now more than ever before, the KTM 125 Project represents freedom and room to move for both original ideas and variety. Elegant, modified, stripped down, for racing or simply to ride, with the KTM 125 concept everything is allowed. A possible interpretation is embodied in a study of a Naked Racer – on which the exhaust system was modified with compatible design elements direct from the KTM 125 basis study.

“KTM 125”
The developers at KTM don’t have to learn about being consistent – it is a part of their natural daily creative process. Together with the company’s enthusiastic customers, the Duke, Super Duke, RC8R and Adventure are all proof of this philosophy. Now this same dynamic is also evident in a smaller displacement bike segment with the introduction of a range of 125 cc products that have been one hundred percent developed at the company headquarters in Mattighofen, Austria. The four-valve cylinder head, water cooling, fuel injection, two overhead cam shafts and 15 hp all demonstrate the desire for the highest level of technological development. The latticed tubular steel frame is the guarantee of perfect riding fun. As always, the very succinct KTM appearance comes from the extremely creative Kiska design team. High quality suppliers like WP Suspension and Brembo are the guarantee of premium quality components throughout. Coming with individual design possibilities, these completely newly constructed motorcycles are a breath of fresh air for the segment

KTM PRESS RELEASE
PERFECTLY POSITIONED: THE KTM OFFROAD MODEL YEAR 2011

KTM’s Mattighofen factory in Austria has invested a huge amount of effort in developing the latest Offroad motorcycles for the 2010 season with the clear aim of improving the advantage on loose ground even more. Star of the KTM model range is the revolutionary MX1 innovation, the 350 SX-F.

The current motorsport season is well underway and the KTM factory riders have already claimed a slew of podiums on the latest “Made in Austria“ Offroaders. Now the sports brand from Austria presents the line-up of brand new motorcycles for the Model Year 2011.

With three high quality and competitive Minicycle variants for the youngest offroad enthusiasts, a total of six uncompromising Motocross motorcycles especially designed for winning races as well as eight versions of Sport Enduros, the Austrian manufacturer presents the perfect line-up for the coming season. In doing so, KTM once again underlines its leading role in the world of Offroad sports activity.

The huge amount of depth of development in the new Offroad model range extends all the way from the 50 cc two-stroke (50 SX) right up to the powerful displacement of the Enduro 530 EXC F Sixdays-R. In between there is a whole range of tailor-made sports machines for every type of offroad riding and for every rider profile, all absolutely true to the KTM “Ready to Race” philosophy. KTM has just the right machine, regardless of whether it’s for the ambitious hobby rider or the ruling world champion.

As well as the huge development effort that the KTM technicians have applied to the entire model range, these new motorcycles still include some very special innovations. This especially applies to the 350 SX-F, which was first exhibited last autumn. This, the first ever 350 cc bike deployed in the MX1 World Championship, has already been mastered by factory riders Antonio “Tony” Cairoli and his Red Bull KTM teammate Rui Goncalves. Cairoli not only won the premiere race for the 350 machine; after his GP victories, he is also leading the championship standings.

In addition to the unique engine concept, the MX lineup for the 2011 also includes a newly developed frame and chassis components.

The Enduro models, which have been similarly decorated with world championship titles all also profit from the massive amount of experience gathered by not less than 176 World Championship titles. This can be seen both in the feather light two-stroke versions as well as the highly modern and performance powerful four-stroke models. With significant improvements in a while range of areas as well as the extensive series equipment, these machines are prepared in the best possible way for the new racing season.
